Torres Vedras gathers a diversity of landscapes and offers multiple activities that invites its community and visitors to discover and enjoy them.

From the countryside to the beach there are available several cultural venues such as museums, interpretation centers, libraries, galleries and a theatre - each one with specific offers, organized in annual programs of activities including special activities for school audiences.

The Municipality's cultural policy is lead by a set of principles, in which are included a primacy of participation, a territorial dissemination, a stimulation of creations from a local context, an articulation with local organizations and the support of creation platforms.
