Created in 2020, Stronger Peripheries: a Southern Coalition<\/strong> is a large-scale cooperation project coopera\u00e7\u00e3o de larga escala<\/strong> supported by the EU\u2019s Creative Europe program, the first of its kind led by Artemrede. It acts within the performing arts sector through the creation of artistic productions, the training of creative and cultural workers, and the proposal of new cultural policies based on the promotion and assessment of participative practices. It is the inaugural project stemming from the Southern Coalition, an informal association that prompts cooperation between cultural agents based in the countries of the Mediterranean basin and the Balkans.<\/p>\n

Stronger Peripheries is a network addressing peer-based activation of skills, and the cultural development of territories. It is based on an innovative tandem model, calling for joint work and dialogue between two partners for each action\u2019s concoction.<\/p>\n

Audiences\u2019 outreach and development, artistic creation and capacity building activities will allow for multiple transnational mobility and cooperation opportunities throughout a period of four years (2020 to 2024), encompassing the following actions:<\/p>\n– a coprodu\u00e7\u00e3o de 12 novos espet\u00e1culos de teatro e de dan\u00e7a<\/strong>, e respectiva circula\u00e7\u00e3o internacional;
\n– a concretiza\u00e7\u00e3o de 21 a\u00e7\u00f5es de capacita\u00e7\u00e3o (semin\u00e1rios e workshops) <\/strong>abertos a operadores culturais e visando o  desenvolvimento de novos modelos culturais inclusivos;
\n– a cria\u00e7\u00e3o de 6 comunidades de acolhimento, <\/strong>com as quais os artistas trabalhar\u00e3o sobre t\u00f3picos espec\u00edficos;
\n– a realiza\u00e7\u00e3o de 1 Confer\u00eancia Internacional<\/strong> e de 1 publica\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong> para a dissemina\u00e7\u00e3o dos resultados.\n
